The Pivot3 Serverless Computing Array delivers both server and storage resources using hardware appliances called Cloudbanks. Cloudbank appliances are configured as arrays with up to twelve hosted servers and 144TB of highly available shared storage per array. The innovation of hosting servers in the award-winning Pivot3 RAIGE Array storage platform eliminates the need for standalone physical servers resulting in dramatic reductions in power, cooling, rack space and cost. The combined server / storage platform has no single point of failure and provides uninterrupted storage access and application recovery in the case of physical appliance failures.
Cloudbank appliances are the hardware platform for the Serverless Computing product line. Each Cloudbank includes CPU, RAM, and network resources to simultaneously run server applications and the underlying RAIGE Array.
The RAIGE Operating System (OS) aggregates the capacity and performance of the appliances, presents a single logical management view, supports dynamic expansion of the array, and protects against hardware failures.

Applications running on the Serverless Computing Array will automatically restart after an appliance failure. The VM recovery feature dynamically re-establishes LAN connections and reconnects servers to the underlying RAIGE Array.
Hosted server software includes a Windows OS and server virtualization software. Hosted server applications run on one appliance, have access to the RAIGE Array, and are managed using standard remote server tools.
